Disaster Services
Our Disaster Services Program is a dedicated initiative aimed at assisting communities during times of crisis. By uniting the efforts of compassionate volunteers, our goal is to be able to swiftly mobilize to provide essential supplies, offering immediate relief to those affected. These supplies are a lifeline to individuals and families facing the devastation of disasters, helping them regain their footing and rebuild their lives. Services after a disaster may assist with temporary shelter, supplies for home repairs, replacement of items lost, rent or utility assistance, counseling and emotional support, or referrals to other organizations.
In addition to supply distribution, our program plays a vital role in coordinating in-kind donations, ensuring that resources are efficiently directed to where they are needed most. Moreover, our Disaster Relief Program organizes volunteer parish disaster response teams, creating a network of dedicated individuals ready to offer support during emergencies. We also offer training on disaster services for priests, religious, and lay people.
